Who knew a mistake could taste so good? Hillary Souza, owner of Veronica’s Treats, stumbled upon her newest creation, Choc Stix, after crossing milk and white chocolate with tasty Chinese Chow Mein noodles. This old snack with a new twist was innovated by Souza and her baking staff while creating a nest for a 3D shaped chicken cake:
“I wanted a nest effect around the cake so we decided to use Chinese Chow Mein noodles and dip them in light brown colored chocolate. Although people loved the cake, the noodle nest looked fabulous and tasted even better, so we decided to package and market the noodles separately.”
These delectable noodle creations are creatively packaged in 6 ounce clear Chinese food take-out containers, retailing for around $7.00.

  • IN THE SUMMER MONTHS (MAY-SEPT), we highly recommend to our customers that we add gel ice packs to your order. There is a $3.00 flat fee. If ordering hand decorated cookies or cakes, we also recommend shipping these items in an insulated cooler. There is a $7.00 flat fee for the cooler (which includes ice packs). We also highly recommend shipping your order UPS 2nd day or Overnight Shipping if your normal UPS Ground transit time is 3 or more days. (Please see UPS Ground transit time map above).
  • In addition, we will only ship orders that could melt in the hot weather to arrive no later then Friday. We do not ship through the weekend. Your order may be held to the following Monday, otherwise your order could melt in a hot UPS warehouse over the weekend. Remember UPS does not have regular delivery on Saturday or Sunday, however Saturday deliveries can be arranged for an additional fee.
  • Please try to ship to an address where someone is home to accept delivery. We can not be responsible if a package is left out all day in the heat. Business addresses are also recommended when possible as they tend to be early day deliveries and signatures are required.
  • If you choose not to have ice packs or a cooler added to your shipment, we are not responsible for any melted or damaged products.
